The Colourpoint Group is one of Ireland's leading publishing companies and publishing services providers. Independently owned and with its head office in Newtownards, a short distance from Belfast, the Colourpoint Group began life as a publishing company in 1993, specialising in educational textbooks and Irish transport history.

Colourpoint has long been recognised for its eminence within the educational sector in Northern Ireland and the transport publishing sector where its reputation extends world-wide. The Colourpoint Group now encompasses publishing programmes across a spectrum of subjects from Irish and general interest books covering historical, social, political, biographical and topical interests, to fiction and the long-standing fields of transport and education. The group has published almost 300 titles to date and continues to expand its publishing operations every year including e-publishing and multimedia.

The group also includes April Sky Design which specialises in self-publishing, graphic design and cartographic services and has built up a reputation for quality production and customer service. Over the years April Sky has been privileged to engage with a wide portfolio of individuals, organisations, companies and government bodies and continues to broaden its range of creative projects.

The publishing services offered by the Colourpoint Group is strengthened by the inclusion of MiMO Distribution, which distributes books and resources for the group and others, which offers an enviable portfolio of distribution, marketing and sales services to other publishers, individuals and companies.
